There have been many major changes made to the last few skills for Chronicles jobs. This will be just a temporary post that gets people hyping, before I actually update my job 3 skill guide with exact details from the Wiki.

Sword Saint: You can now chain from Omni to Godspeed.

Zillion Blade: No change.

Fortress Circle: Healing amount is now dependent on user's max HP, not Mag.

Light of Darkness: Lv3 and lv4 delay are lengthened in order to make chaining into Spiral Spear (and Shield Impact but who cares about that) easier. Lv1 and 3 (Light ones) now have longer cast time and higher damage.

Venom Blast: Increased damage for both hits, second hit is now 5x5. Bonus from learning Scatter Poison and Set Bomb increased. If you have learned Recovery Block and Deadly Attack, the second hit might cause Recovery Block and Stun respectively.

Setsuna: Can now chain from and to Akki. Damage increased. Range increased to 4 cells. Delay reduced.

Impact Shot: Damage increased, delay reduced.

Mirage Shot: Damage increased, required ammunition reduced.

Dispel Field: Innate cooldown reduced, unusable in KT, MP cost up.

Destruction Glare: Bonus from learning Energy Bomb increased.

Element Memory: Learning Elemental Bullet now increases more attack hits.

Elemental Rain: AoE increased to 7x7, MP cost up, cast time is now the same for all levels, lv1~4 each increases one of the 4 elements' damage, and lv5 increases all 4 elements' damage, bonus from learning Wrath increased.

Salvation: Cast time, delay reduced, healing power increased, lv2 and 4 are now target-centric 5x5 AoE (while lv5 remains single target).

Gospel: Changed from user-centric into ground-based AoE, can no longer block DoT AoEs.

Soul Hunt: Damage increased, recovery amount now depends on user's Atk/Matk, not on damage dealt.

Damnation: Reduced cast time, increased damage.

Limit Exceed: Increases effect of each learned Maneuver skills, generally lightened the post-effect penalty.

Junk Throw: SP cost up, MP cost down, reduced damage, increased bonus damage from weapon enhancement, long range damage reduction removed.

Mistletoe Shot: Long range damage reduction removed, accuracy is now S.Hit dependent, recovery AoE is now 7x7, recovery amount is now dependent on damage dealt, not Mag.

Plant Edge: AoE is now 5x5, damage is now dependent on both Atk and Matk, now categorized as a Magic skill, damage increased.

Pillage Act: Motion changed, AoE reduced from 9x9 to 5x5.

Artful Trap: Lv4 (poison gas) damage is now Atk dependent, lv5's boxes damage increased, lv1~3's recovery is now dependent on user's both Atk and Matk.

False Money: AoE increased to 7x7.

Time is Money: SP cost up, MP cost is now the same for all levels (same as lv5), delay increased, damage reduced, bonus damage from money increased.

Style Change: Bonus stats increased for all levels.

Joker: Too many changes to list out here, most importantly bare-hand self-buff has reduced innate cooltime.

As you can see, there have been buffs and nerfs. Once I get the accurate %s for each skill, I'll update my job 3 skill guide and then we'll see if the changes are significant or not. I can see, though, that Harvest's two skills are greatly improved, although moreso for Str builds.

Also guys, how come everyone keeps calling Ranger's job 3 "Strider" when it's "Stryder"? Stryd means "struggle."

jujur aja ; sebenarnya apakah translate google itu menyesatkan?
saya translate dan hasilnya emang ga begitu signifikan perbedaannya, hanya saja ada pertanyaan yg terngiang" di benakku (cielah)
sebenarnya skill gospel (job 50 cardinal) ningkatin min. defense , m. defense, attack sama m. attack nda sih? cmn maximum doang? klo ditrans lewat google ada bilang minimum... jadi? kesimpulannya : mbah google menyesatkan :laugh:

Jangan percaya google. Terutama buat bahasa jepang. Kalimat simple aja bisa jadi arti kebalikan (true story). Saya pribadi sih ga pernah percaya google translate.

Untuk detail skill, nanti setelah master saya ngasih update, bakal saya langsung post disini. Masalahnya di wikijp sendiri pun entah knp update detail skillnya lama bgt, dan (menurut Master) ini ga biasa untuk wikijp. Berita selanjutnya bakal nunggu sampe semua skill di wikijp di update, jadi mohon bersabar ^^;

Masalahnya Google Trans itu sangat praktis +_+ :confuse:

Beberapa cara antara lain pakai beberapa sumber sekaligus. Kebetulah (master?) Trass dah ngasih info langsung dari Jp nya, nah itu bisa dicek sama hasil 2 website Jp yang biasa kulink di thread job 3.

Dan yah... perasaan skill 47-50 belum lama deh diimple. Biasanya Jp melakukan internal calculation dulu kan sebelum dibawa di Wiki? o_O :nod:

Noticeably, Joker's self buff's innate cooldown is reduced to... 60s. Buff effects remain the same.

Even though it's not mentioned, Fortress Circle is reduced from 9x9 to 5x5. HP recovery is user's max HP dependent, and at lv5 with Recovery maxed, it heals 8% of user's max HP x12 times to everyone within user's 5x5. Since Guardian has the highest HP of all jobs, this pretty much is a certain AoE full-heal.

Light of Darkness' lv3 is upped to 3800% (lv4 remains 2500%, but don't forget it's Evil Soul-able). Imagine chaining Spiral and LoD one after another...

As for Eraser, Venom Blast is almost as good as Setsuna thanks to the AoE effect. Of course, Setsuna wins when it's 1v1.

Impact Shot remains useless. Mirage Shot still pales compared to Tempest Shot, and - if you don't mind spamming one key again and again - even Scatter Bullet might outdamage it.

Dispel Aura's innate cooldown reduced to just 30s. Its AoE got shrunk from 9x9 to 5x5, sadly. And the cost (180MP per use) sucks.

Still no exact figures about Astralist's skills yet, but Element Memory seems to be buffed enough to be a nice anti-Reflection single target spell. Elemental Rain is to be used the same way as Wrath, ie. totally dependent on Delay Out.

Salvation can now be used as either a 5x5 AoE heal at lv4 or single target heal at lv5. Interesting. At 0.5s cast and 0.5s delay, it's very useful. Gospel's AoE also reduced from 9x9 to 5x5, but even then the buff effects are still great.

Damnation is now 3650% with DSD and Abyss maxed, making it even stronger than mein Sklave's "Dream Pattern" Hell Brand, not to mention much easier to use. Meanwhile Soul Hunt is mostly for Str build to make use of lv3 which hits 1700% Atk and drains 200% damage dealt as HP, with buffs that's a guaranteed full heal.

As for Junk Throw, it's now completely dependent on weapon refinement level. At +0, the damage is said to be "disappointing."

Mistletoe Shot's bug is ridiculously annoying, but hopefully it'd be fixed during today's maintenance. Afterward, it becomes an incredible party support skill, since 40% of the damage dealt (2320% Atk) is drained as HP for 7x7 AoE.

Plant Edge's damage is greatly improved, at lv5 it's 3150%~3500% of max Atk + max Matk on ground-based 5x5. Unfortunately, despite being treated as magic spell (ie. can't be cast while Silenced), it has many drawbacks: always non-element, no crit, blocked by Aura, not affected by Zen or Flame Heart. Although, it ignores Reflection, and deals damage to enemy's Def not Mdef. A nice AoE for Str build, but for Mag build, Mario King with elemental advantage is better. On the other hand, if you ignore defense altogether and go for a hybrid build, this skill becomes very powerful (especially with Dragon Eye and Soul Sacrifice).

Pillage Act is simply nerfed with a shrunk AoE. Artful Trap's first 3 lvs use both Atk and Matk for healing value, which means it's great for all jobs, and lv1 (HP heal) is especially helpful for training pets. Lv5 is good for dealing a lot of background damage, if you can stand listening to boxes exploding on steroid.

False Money remains PvP, and with AoE boosted to 7x7, it's evil. Time is Money might seem greatly nerfed, but at lv5, as long as you have 50k in hand, you'll be doing 2000% Atk already, so it's not as bad as it seems save for 101SP cost and 3s delay.

I'll update my guide on Ring blog to reflect those changes later.
