GungHo phone verification

This matter concern us all ECO players & followers, this is our ultimatum. GungHo announced today that they require users to verify their accounts with a phone number. So far we've been able to avoid region locks (IP Ban), registration (with e-mail verification) but this time is different.
I've been investigating a bit and there may be solutions, but none is cheap, so I wanted to discuss this with you and see if anyone can find a better way to overcome this.

I don't . . . even . . . understand ._.

but heck, I tried translating the passage in the gungho link and it just left me with so many questions.

Will we be able to change our phone number to that of japanese phones? (so that we can register it just like changing IP using VPN)

You see, I've read this http://euc.jp/misc/cellphones.en.html  and now I'm confused. Will this verification thingy only requires the numbers to fill (and then we'll get activation code), or will we have to own a phone (and of course, the prepaid subscription)?

I also don't know whether we can change the phone number or not using such service:

Of course, the other options might be that we ask friends from japan who has the phone and send the code.

A little misconception here, the one who is afflicted with this is the one who fills gungho privacy data page (which was used for filling coin usually). Casual user who don't tinker with payment system will not be affected with this announcement.

To see whether you're victim of this update, if you see a new unfamiliar page after entering id/password, you need to fill your phone number, otherwise you're pretty much safe.

  btw saya bisa verifikasi nomor telp jepang tapi free trial cuma beberapa hari tapi bisa dilakukan pakai sonetel gan  jadi mesti cepet tapi resikonya kalau minta verifikasi lgi ilang deh nomornya . tapi saya sudah coba isi eco point ga perlu verifikasi lgi kalau butuh bantuan pm aja  atau butuh bukti boleh 
oh ya dan btwww gratis cuma perlu nomor telpon (edit)
